Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims & Assumption of Risk

Please read this agreement carefully. It affects your legal rights. By signing below you confirm that you have read and understood it in full.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that a rage room involves striking and shattering glass, ceramics, electronics and other objects, and that this carries inherent risks including flying debris, sharp fragments, noise, slips, falls, strains, cuts, bruises, eye injury and hearing damage. I understand that these risks cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken. I voluntarily accept and assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

Safety Rules

I agree to wear all protective equipment provided — coveralls, gloves, face shield and chest protector — for the entire time I am inside the rage room, and to wear closed-toe footwear. I agree to follow every instruction given by staff, to strike only the designated targets and walls, never to swing at or throw anything toward another person, the floor or the ceiling, and never to remove safety gear inside the room.

Fitness & Condition

I confirm that I am physically able to take part and that I am not under the influence of alcohol, cannabis or any drug that impairs judgement, coordination or reaction time. I confirm I am not pregnant. I will disclose to staff any medical condition that could affect my safe participation.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Ontario, I release and agree not to sue Break N Rage, its owners, operators, staff and property owners from any and all claims, demands or causes of action arising from my participation, including those caused by ordinary negligence. I agree to indemnify them against any claim brought by a third party arising from my conduct.

Age Requirement

Participants must be at least 13 years of age. Anyone under 18 must have this waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, and that adult must remain present and participating for the duration of the session.

Personal Property

I understand that Break N Rage is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal item I bring into the rage room, including phones, cameras, eyewear and clothing.

Photography & Media

I understand that photographs or video may be taken during my session and may be used by Break N Rage for promotional purposes. I may opt out in writing at any time by contacting the studio.
